Without Mbappe, Real Madrid still secured a big win as another star shone brightly

During the 24th round of La Liga 2025/26, even without Kylian Mbappe starting, Real Madrid showcased a powerful offensive performance to overcome Real Sociedad 4-1 on home ground. 

Vinicius was the highlight with two penalty goals, and he also scored once more but the goal was disallowed due to offside.

As early as the 5th minute, the home team broke the deadlock. From Alexander-Arnold’s precise cross on the right flank, Gonzalo Garcia rushed in to tap the ball diagonally with one touch, leaving Remiro no chance to save. This early goal allowed Real Madrid to take full control of the match.
