Manchester United lost 2-4 to Ruben Amorim's AC Milan in their final preseason match. In this game, the Red Devils faced last season's head coach but couldn't perform at their best. After the match, most players proactively greeted the 41-year-old Portuguese manager, but Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo, and Diogo Dalot deliberately kept their distance from him.

Due to poor results and conflicts with the management, Amorim was sacked by Manchester United in January.
