Vietnam U23 striker misses penalty, PVF-CAND coach makes surprising statement

Coach Tran Tien Dai stated that PVF-CAND club rallied around Thanh Nhan following his penalty miss against Becamex TP.HCM, fueling his drive to "make amends" in the latter half.

On the evening of April 4th, PVF-CAND club allowed Becamex TP.HCM to secure a 1-1 draw right at PVF's home ground. One notable moment was striker Nguyen Thanh Nhan's missed penalty in the 22nd minute. However, in the second half, the Vietnam U23 forward "redeemed his error" by scoring the equalizing goal for his team.

Sharing after the match, coach Tran Tien Dai said:The entire team, not just the coaching staff, boosted Thanh Nhan's morale after that missed opportunity. The team's unity helped Nhan regain his spirit and score the goal.

Mr. Dai also revealed that within PVF-CAND club currently, Thanh Nhan is among the top choices for penalty situations. He stated: During training sessions, Nhan is one of the two best penalty takers in the team.

Evaluating the team's progress over the past month of work, coach Tran Tien Dai noted: Over the last month working with the players, there have been signs of renewed cohesion. I am satisfied with their competitive spirit today.

For PVF-CAND, the 1 point against Becamex TP.HCM still does not lift them from the bottom position on the standings.
